Self Portrait (Test in Modular Shapes and Technological Advantage)

I am experimenting with a few concepts here. To start I am using couple with hue and a little brightness to create the value but more importantly I am experimenting with what the technology can give me. I used a tablet to do the outlines with no pressure settings so it would be as incorporated with the technology's "natural" style. The Line work was then taken into illustrator and converted to vector (to even more enforce the "natural" algorithms that the computer uses to create the work).

The color and value was done with 2 modular shapes, the first is a simple solid line (cyan or yellow applicably) that blends to a transparent line and a simple shape that includes an arc to show volume. These 2 shapes were then reused throughout the whole piece, distorted and changed to apply to the surface it's on. The shapes all use a blur or feathering to once again utilize the technology's "natural" ability to create something aesthetically pleasing.
